The hotel room card system allows guests to securely enter their rooms within a defined stay period and activates all electrical devices by supplying power to the room after entry. The 16-bit MUC integrated circuits are embedded on the board, ensuring stable operation. Thanks to its unique low-power design, the battery life is three times longer compared to older models. In case of battery depletion, the lock can also be opened using a mechanical key with a classic system.

How does the card hotel door lock system work?

Guest identity information is collected at the reception, and the stay period is assigned to each guest. The hotel room card is encoded and issued using a Card Encoder. Hotel guests bring their cards close to the lever door lock in their rooms. The smart room lock reads the room number, stay date range, and security status written on the card, then grants or denies access accordingly.
Guests who enter the room insert their card into the energy saver device, which supplies electrical power to the room. Thanks to the energy saver, which provides significant energy savings, all electrical devices automatically turn off when the room is not in use.
Guests checking out return the hotel room card to the reception, where the exit is processed in the hotel system. Returned cards can be re-encoded and used for new guests multiple times.
