Mifare Wiegand Card Reader
A Mifare Wiegand card reader is a device used in security and access control systems. Mifare card readers read data from nearby cards using a magnetic field. Based on the magnetic field of the card, the reader obtains the information on the card and transmits it to the control system. This protocol is used to transfer data from the card reader to the control panel. The Wiegand protocol ensures secure and reliable data transmission.
It is commonly used at building entrances and exits, personnel tracking systems, turnstile systems, and security doors. Simply bringing the card close to the reader is sufficient; no physical contact is required. Mifare Wiegand card readers can be easily integrated into existing access control systems. Installation is simple and quick. They are waterproof according to IP68 standards.
